One night at the hotel was almost one too many. Our room had certainly seen better days. The towel rail in the bathroom fell off the wall, the shower door had come off its rail, the hair dryer was broken. The Dvorak Hotel is an older hotel but the location can't be beat as it sits right at the base of the castle. However, this is such a small town, that any hotel isn't located far from anything. I think, that during my stay in April 2010 this hotel offered the best price/quality relation in Cesky Krumlov. I paid only about 50 euro for very spacious if a little bit worn out room with wonderful river and castle view (it was some "special offer"). Nice and also spacious bathroom. Two nights is perfect – any longer and I would find it hard to keep myself busy. Service or lack of service is more to the point - staff at the front desk extremely disinterested!
