I really enjoyed the hotel - a 16th century monastery converted to a luxury hotel. The antique furniture, the toilet encased in a wooden throne, the helpful people. The town of Cesky Krumlov was very quaint and lovely, and I would recommend the visit to anyone.

Spend the extra money and stay in room 212... This exceptionally decorated medieval style former seminary is a true delight to stay at. Hoel Ruze welcomes dogs, and I found it very comfortable. As long as I behaved myself I was welcome to go with my family to breakfast and enjoy the terrace as well. And the staff always brought me water! Great place to stay! Woof!

Clearly not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Nice historic feeling is the plus, but basics are not quite there. Wifi only works on the lobby...not in the bedroom, as the staff claims, nor in the dining room...so no reading your newspaper over breakfast. Wonderful historic hotel with great rooms and set in a beautiful Medieval city. We had2 rooms, both were very clean and nicely appointed. Request room 212 amazing upgrade even when we used Booking.com the front desk manager graciously offered it to us. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back in the summertime.

This is such a lovely hotel in the old part of town and minutes away from the market square. It has beautifully furnished rooms, good size bathroom and bedroom but did stay in a deluxe room. Restaurant served delicious and good choice of buffet breakfast in a lovely olde worlde setting. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times.
