We had a great time at Hotel Julian. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the bar and restaurant were great as well. We travel a lot and I don't write too many hotel reviews for Tripadvisor, but the Hotel Julian really was a great find. We stayed with two other groups from our family over Christmas and all agreed it was in a great location not too far from the city centre or castle (15 mins walk), excellent price and good quality....

Enjoyed the city, the hotel, the breakfast and the great service. We were there in October and found the city was still very active with tourists. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the old town, which we knew before booking the room. But you couldn't beat the price we paid. We would stay there again.
