This hotel was ideal to stay at when visiting Prague, it is idealy situated for sightseeing. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is continental as expected but i couldn't complain about the range and it was all fresh. More

Hotel Venezia had the big advantage to be very close to Wenceslas Square and to many other touristic attaraction, which makes it a very good choice for tourist on a budget and looking for a no frills... The hotel was a good stay for young students who simply need somewhere to stay at night. The breakfast wasn't great, simply cereal with meat and cheese and bread but what can you expect? Our two major problems were the fact that we were on the top floor and on the first night we got stuck in the lift for... More

Of many great places in Prague; squares, museums, churches, restaurants, bars, shopping malls and many many great hotels. This one is not one of them!!! I think the people who run this place have long ago decided that it was a lost cause but forgot to tell the staff. The life sort of continues but it's like a tooth that... More

Dear Traveler, thank you for sending your comment. Hotel Venezia is a budget hotel with no frills in a very convenient location, 5/10 minutes walking to Wenceslas Square. We are sorry for the smoke, but the hotel reception area is smoking therefore it is pretty normal under this condition. Rooms are very simple but clean and with everything a guest... More

Lumpy spring mattress, ugly old furnishings and a disgusting breakfast in a dark basement. I could not eat because of the filth, the breakfast staff had given up trying to keep up appearances. The porter was very friendly, that was the best thing about the place. Go somewhere else! More

We spent only one night in this hotel, but this was much longer that I recommend to anyone. When we arrived, there wasn't any space in the private parking lot -so we had to made our small Odyssey around the block to find one; in fact, this can be quite tricky in this part of Prague. The receptionist didn't make... More

brilliant no frills hotel, stayed with my best friends on my hen weekend, staff were friendly and helpful and the room was large and great value, the duvets were thin and tiny and inadequate for a cold prague night but the heating was scorching. great location right near a metro station and a fabulous restaurant over the road...make sure you... We arrived late evening the night porter!! said we did not need a key to get back into the hotel so we went for a drink at a local bar, ZumZum on next street down (very good beer). On return it took ages to get an answer from the porter to open the door, quite worrying. The rooms (we had... More

For the money we paid, I didn't expect it to be the Ritz but it really wasn't comfy at all. The room was very clean (right on top floor) but quite noisy as it was on a main road and close to a police station as it seemed like there were police sirens going off day, noon and night. The... More

First point: it seems there's more than one "Hotel Venezia" in Prague, and some of the reviews posted here are for the other one! This is for the hotel situated 10 mins. walk from the museum end of Wenceslas Square, not the one in the old town. An easy walk from Muzeum metro station. This is very much a cheap... More
