Let me start off with saying that the pictures don't do it justice. This is one awesome hotel! The breakfast is wonderful and they replenish it during the 2 hours - it is served from 7AM until 9AM. The coffee is very tasty, and I would recommend the jams as well. When it comes to the location, this is next to a huge shopping mall with a large Tesco store inside - the prices are very good in the store. To address the comments about being too far from the center, it is a 20 minute walk that takes you through Park Luzansky as one of the most scenic walks ever! Don't think about it, just book the hotel and enjoy Brno (it is a very beautiful city indeed).

A decent hotel tucked well away from the town. Avoid if possible due to distance. Friendly staff and good housekeeping. Parking area is available. Good rooms with a microwave and electric kettle. The toilet door was a bit flimsy and tended to fall off.

We had trouble when we have the trip to Brno and we were not able to arrive hotel. So we called them asked to cancel but they say they will charge. then we also tried to send mail through booking.com and the answer was also negative. Such bad moments can happen and other hotels are mostly helpful about fee return. But they charged us full amount even we didn't see the hotel. So i don't recommend you to make a reservation if you are %100 sure to stay there.

Recently stayed at the hotel while on business in Brno. The hotel was booked for me by the company I was visiting. Nice modern hotel, only small. Nice clean rooms which even have a microwave and sink. Good bathrooms with a great powerful shower. The breakfast room is nice and bright with a buffet which was good. The coffee was nice. Very good value. For business or if you have a car great but the location is strange, tucked in the side of a huge Tesco Supermarket so no good for walking to the city.

I chose this hotel for a business trip and I can´t complain but for tourists maybe not so perfect location. Bathroom as well as the room provide space and comfort, clean and modern. There are shops and restaurants convenient nearby. Give it a try if being in Brno.

We initially chose the Vaka because we were planning on renting a car and wanted to avoid 'old city' congestion and be close to a highway. In the end, we didn't rent a car but were happy to take the convenient transit from the Vaka to the center of Brno. The rooms were clean, the place quiet (despite being in an industrial looking area), the breakfast very good. and local shopping (e.g. groceries) convenient. There are several restaurants within walking distance (we had a pleasant meal at the Restaurant Noem Arch).

I stayed recently 3 days in a business trip. The hotel is very comfortable, rooms are nice, bathroom is big and clean. Internet working pretty good and breakfast is not great but quite good with coffee directly from a coffee machine, something to be appreciated. People at the reception were very nice and friendly and attending my needs. The only disadvantage is that is a bit far away from the downtown and like 40 minutes walking from the center so coming just for tourism , I would look for something closer to the city. Overall, a very satisfactory visit.

Everything was just perfect. The personnel was superkind and flexible. The room was big, spotlessly clean and very well equipped (including basic kitchen facilities). The minibar selection was good and affordable. Breakfast was rich and amazing in every details. Free parking place. No doubt, I will visit again.

If this hotel was located a litlle bit closer to center, it would be more then superb. At the check-out we forgat to pay, but with polite e-mail communication hotels staff give as time to return home and pay after we receive invoice.
