Salvia hotel is well located. Unfortunately, that’s the only positive thing to say about the hotel. Dirty carpets . Torn upholstery. No noise insulation. When the people in the other rooms are using the washroom you are well aware of it... Staff’s English is challenging.

This hotel needs a renovation, its really old and weary. Also when i entered my room the wondow was open so it was only a few degrees, and i struggled to turn the heat in Very central location though. Breakfast was ok

The hotel is located near the central place of Brno. Nice employees and housekeeper. The room was clean an okay. In the bathroom, there were only a bathtub without curtain and it was very difficult to take a shower, because i wouldn't create a lake in the middle of the bathroom. But all in all a good hotel for a night or few.

I really did my research before, I chose this reasonably priced hotel for my group of 10 people who , wanted to come to Brno to visit the Christmas markets there and to also , explore all the city had to offer . The hotel bedrooms rooms were 'Comfortable ' and , we did not expect them to be 'Modern' as , we like older hotels that have a bit of character to them ! This hotel is well located as in , everything in central Brno was well within easy walking distance . The tourist maps that were provided by the hotel on my request , were not very good and , upon arrival I would recommend that you go to the Tourist Information office as soon as possible as , there are better free maps there [ As in 'BRNO..Small guide to the city ' and also the leaflet entitled 'Brnopas' . Reception at the hotel do not understand or speak English very well so , the best information you can get is from , 'Tourist Information ' . I always book a hotel with a bar for my group as , they like to meet up in a hotel bar early evening and , meet up again before they finally to go to bed . We discovered that , the bar was within the restaurant and was closed for most of our stay due to , 'Private Functions ' . I have to say that , my group were really annoyed about this ! Finally , Re 'Breakfast' . Nobody found it great but , 'Adequate' . the hotel website advertised a great breakfast but , as a group we have had better ! There was no fried bacon as advertised and , we would have all have liked this ! Breakfast was not as advertised on your website so , everyone was disappointed !

If you want to enjoy the 80th, try it. 13.55 - you will be trounced as in the socialism, becouse the check in if from 14,00. Then you have to wait in a long queue, there is just one receptionist. If you are lucy, you have not to wait infront the room until 14,30 (cleaning). Plastic toilet plank, spotted, footworn carpet, peace of toilet paper on the radiator in the room, very small beds (with the cheapest bedsore mattress). Bellow bes sheet is a plastic foil (maybe for incontinent quest). Mould round the basin. If you want to pay in the morning - the same, just one person and a long queue.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you weren´t satisfied. If it is possible, we always rather do early check in for all guests - sometimes (during peak periods) is simply impossible due to high occupancy from previous night...it is unfortunately very similar all over the world. We are a bit old fashioned - that is absolutely true, but at the same time we try to fix and upgrade the rooms. It is constant never ending process. Thank you for your tips for improvement and once again let me say our deepest apology for all inconvience and felt discomfort.

We stayed as a group in this hotel , rooms are warm and clean , big high ceilings and comfortable beds . Shower was hot and powerful. If you want up to date and modern , this is not the hotel for you . Breakfast was fantastic with a good range , hot foods , salads, cold meats and cereals. We would definitely stay again as it is pretty central and next to everything we wanted to see .

being on the way we had to stop for sleep. we choose this hotel but was not good. beds were small...the room was old fashioned...from 1950...with the furniture and all amenities....windows had no curtains.... we felt like at hostel rather than hotel. that room is bad and honestly the hotel on the floors...looks the same...so i rather not recommend.... attentive staff, decent breakfast against the very poor impression on the room....parking was full so we had to park elsewhere...

We were a family of four staying for one night only. The rooms were comfortable and clean but a bit old fashioned, especially the bathrooms (Very 1970's colour schemes), There were a couple of small niggles - on arrival we were given 15% discount vouchers for food etc. The hotel receptionost had great difficulty in findng out how to apply the discount to our bill. The second was the lack of food on the buffet at breakfast, the staff were trying to keep the the buffet stocked but it was in "dribs and drabs", They explained to us that there was an unexpected arrival of a large tour group which overwhelmed the kitchen. The hotel was good but need a bit more organisation.

Thank you for a great review and tips for our improvement. We are very sorry that you felt discomfort during your stay. The discount is apliable in the restaurant and receptionist can only do to call the waiter or F&B manager, they can not give you discount from already issued receipt/bill. Better organisation during all processes is always needed that is true.

As noted, the hotel is very well located and the staff very helpful. However, the room, while a good size, had only the most basic amenities. The fixtures in the bathroom were obviously old and in need of repair. There was no shower curtain. Water went all over. I was in a room under the roof with no air conditioning, which was very hot. Breakfast was okay, with even enough options for vegetarians.

Dear guest you are right, our hotel is old. We try to refurb the rooms but it takes some time to complete this. About the curtain in the bathroom it is 50:50, some people hate curtain, some people can´t stand when it missing. We will try to add at least some other option soon.

Stayed for one night. Had a room on the 2nd floor with a large window, but no real views. Very old-fashioned furniture, bathroom and setting, but in an ideal part of the city. Was disappointed to have to pay 350 CZK for street parking in a "hotel guest only" spot. Breakfast was buffet / Swedish table style and featured typical fare. Warm items were eggs, bacon and sausage. Front desk service was kind and attentive.

Dear guest thank you for your evaluation, our parking in front has to be marked as for hotel guests because otherwise other people from residental area would stay on these places. Unfortunately we have to pay for these leased places as well so that is one of the main reason we ask for the amount too. We hope to see you next time. If you have other tips for our improvement we appreciate your feedback and inspirational ideas.
