I`ve stayed in lots of hostels in Gdansk as I like to get around on my visits, this one is o.k if the price is the best as it was on my trip,it`s a 5 minute walk from the centre & if you turn off the main route it gives you the chance to see how some in Gdansk really live... More

I spent in Old Town Hostel more when a week during summer and I really enjoyed it. My room was nice and spacious, whole hostel was really clean and breakfast was perfect. I'm always a little bit affraid of eating in hostels because I keep healthy diet. It appears they serve a lot of vegetables, fruits, eggs, cheese, ham -... More

I traveled in the off season and got a four bed room to myself, so that may skew my perception a bit. I was in a basement room, which smelled a bit moldy. Although the walls were a bit thin, as are most hostels, the beds were comfortable and I still managed to get a restful night’s sleep. They had... More

First impressions of this hostel was that it is in a fairly rough part of town - apart from that, the actual hostel is great. We received a friendly welcome from the staff and they were happy to give advice on what to see etc. Breakfast was included although the kitchen is very small - perhaps up to 8 people... More

This hostel is 15 minutes walking from the beautifull Gdansk old town, not very difficult to find if you have a citymap. The accomodation is quite nice, we have very normal bunker beds and also very simple single beds, all of them functional, resting in a nice carpet floor. I felt good in the rooms and safe, as every safety... More

Whilst the rooms of this hostel are well appointed the location is a good reason not to stay here. If travelling by train you will have difficulty finding this place and the neighbourhood doesn't feel overly safe. Overall, I would say it's a well run hostel on the wrong side of the tracks.

Location was good, once you got there. From the train station a bit of a Distance, 6 stops on a tram. 10 min walk from centre once you arrive. Right on the edge of ' nice Gdansk ', wouldn't go a street further unless you have to. Reception is 24 hour, at night they even have a guy sleeping on... More

Decided to visit Gdansk on my stag do at the end of March and after getting a cheap deal on the flights we decided that as we were not expecting to spend much time in the accomodation we would look to get somewhere cheap just to get our heads down. This hostel ticked all the right boxes and we were... More

Don't be afraid when you see the outside of the hostel...we almost walked away but we're SURE glad we didn't! It looks like an abandon building from the front that's graffitied with the word 'hostel' but once you get inside it's really nice. Showers are coed, but of course there's curtains. There's breakfest in the morning, slim pickings if you... More
