4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2013 NEW

We stayed at Dwor Karolowka between Christmas 2012 and New Year's 2013. Overall I thought it was pretty good but not without some shortcomings. On the plus side it was reasonably priced, I found the desk staff very pleasant (no communication problems) and I actually thought the food (both the breakfast buffet and dinner) were excellent. On the down side,... More

Whenever someone evaluates a hotel or attraction, they bring with them preconceived notions and experiences. We are middle-aged travelers who've visited over 60 countries and look for great locations, pleasant, competent staff, and good value. At the Karolowka Hotel, we found two out of three. The location - out of the hustle and bustle of a very touristy downtown and... More

This hotel is a bit outside of Zakopane village, but still, if you are a beginner in skiing, its still walking distance to Nosal, one of the smaller & friendly slopes/systems in Zakopane. The food was "just enough" and priceable. The jacuzzi was awesome and the rooms are exactly what you need. The staff helpt out with taxis & all... More

Nice hotel out in the country about 3 miles from Zakpoane. Staff had limited English but were pleasant. There is no elevator to the upper flowers so try a ground floor room if you have luggage. The free parking and internet was great. Breakfast was standard however the evening meal was outstanding. Big rooms

The hotel is situated 3,5km from the city and its noises although the road nearby is quite busy (the road to Cyhrla, Slovakia, Białka T. and Morskie Oko). I liked breakfast, reliable wifi connection in the room, large free carpark, nice staff. The breakfast starts at 8 but they were fortunately ready already at 7.30. There is one trail to... More

Just returned from a stay in Poland and 4 nights at Dwor Karolowka. We hired a car for our holiday and the free hotel car parking made things so easy. The sat nav had no trouble finding the hotel. We took a taxi into the town centre of Zakopane (3.5kms away) a couple of times which was on average 35... More

We spent a really nice relaxing time in Zakopane in hotel Karolowka. This place is quite a bit away from the city centre but ideal for those who have a car or those that love to walk in beautifull surrandings. For those that don't, they will find a bus stop just across from the hotel from where it takes only... More

This was such a beautiful hotel! Rooms were very clean and were a great size. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and as it is small, over the course of a few days the staff became very accustomed to our continuous questions. The rooms themselves were very large, with huge bathrooms and power showers - very much needed... More

A fantastic stay at a beautiful, charming hotel. The exterior looks like a small castle, nestled among the mountains in the background. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was great, as was the dinner service. It is a short ride to the center of town, but away from the noise and crowds. Ideal for hikers and lovers of... More

We have just returned from a Christmas 3 day break spent in Dwor. Karolowka. What a great place! The rooms were good and the food was absolutely excellent. We had a lovely Christmas there.
