We chose the pension because of favourable reviews on Virtual Tourist and its proximity to the local bus station - we travel by public transport - and we were not disappointed. We had originally booked B&B, but arriving at lunch time and seeing the wonderful meals being served, and extensive and freshly prepared salad buffet, and the reasonable cost of dinner, B&B decided to move onto that plan. Our room had an excellent balcony with a view of the dramatic Julian Alps but the area is about outdoor acitivities and there wasn't much time for taking advantage of our balcony. Breakfasts had plenty of fresh fruit and an excellent fruit salad plus a wide variety of hams and cheeses as well as breads and jams etc, dinners had plenty of choice including for vegetarians, and the service was friendly and quick. more
