Spent a long weekend here, and thought it was excellent value for money. Got the room that overlooked the harbour, which had a small balcony - not the biggest room, but bigger than a lot of other European hotels. Staff were friendly, especially the proprietor, who had lots of advice. Location is great - everywhere in this little medieval town... More

Thank you very much for taking time and writting a comment quite a while after visiting Piran. I hope it means that the memories are still fresh and very positive. Piran is still a well kept secret, to be discovered. On the other hand - that's the reaseon why visitors like Piran so much - it is never really overcrowded..... More

My teenage son and I spent some time exploring Slovenia,(Europe's best kept secret) in October, 2012. We spent two nights in the Hotel Tartini. The hotel is situated right on the main square of Piran and the town of Piran itself is very scenic and photogenic. Hotel Tartini treated us great. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly... More

Thank you for sharing your impressions about your stay and Piran in general. Piran is still, for many travellers, too much of a secret. Your autumn visit proves that the town is not only interesting in hot summer months but practically in any period of the year. Photographers and painters always find inspiration and beautiful view points. Visiting Piran is... More

After driving around for over an hour looking for this hotel, a nice policeman finally walked along side our car to the main plaza. It was sort of sitting in plain sight, but this town is very difficult to navigate by car. The room itself was funky, but it was sparsely furnished and supplied. I think we paid for the... More

Thank you for your comment. Sometimes the navigation system in fact would not brfng you to the hotel but to a blind end above the town centre. Therefore we have put street signs on some "delicate" points, like the first turn to PIran. If you follow the sign, you can't get lost. Piran is not a large city after all... More

Good things first:Staff very friendly and helpful. Location great...if you don't mind the shuttle bus and parking far away. With a child and thousand things to carry it becomes a bit of a hustle. Room: Smelly, small, smelly and you should save the money for the sea view, cause you only get a glimps of it, at least in the... More

Thank you for your comment. Indeed, the majority of people, visiting and staying in Piran, do not mind the distance between the parking and the hotel since driving into the centre is possible at all times and you can unload most of the things. However we do unterstand that it is not alwasy the easiest solutione for families with children.... More

Thank you for your comment. Even in October rain is never long-lasting in Piran and usually you can look forward to the sun a couple of hours later. It is a good time to travel if you like to avoid mainstream.. Andreja Frelih, Hotel manager More

The location is as central as it gets in Piran, with great sea view from the balcony and starry sky view from the rooftop terrace. Despite central location there is no noise. Hotel Tartini is in an excellent position in Piran. The main entrance to the hotel is off a lovely square where there is outdoor seating to the many cafes/bars. We were at the Tartini for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. When we first checked into room 307, I was surprised by how small it was, and concerned if we would be comfortable there. Thanks for your contribution. It's amazing how some guests start to feel being a part of Piran instantly. Thank you for your contribution. We do believe that you enjoyed the whole 10 days holiday as much as you did your short stay in Piran. Definitely the town is a real relaxation after a longer tour especially when you are able to catch a little bit of the "mediterannen way" enjoying time in coffee bars and restaurants.
