I stayed at the Promenade Hotel in February this year. The hotel is extremely well located on Vaci Utca (the main tourist stretch). The hotel was quite basic but we didn't pay much per night so was good value for money. The breakfast was good. Reception staff were always friendly and easy to ask for advice.

Just spent 2 nights at The Promenade with my husband and children. We could not fault the place, rooms clean and well appointed! The breakfast was fine and set us up for the day. I would definitely recommend it. You are right in the centre of the city and all the sights are within walking distance!

A spotlessly clean hotel on the main pedestrianised tourist street of Budapest. Ideally located to walk anywhere in the city, either side of the river. A nice breakfast buffet served on the sixth floor, a decent choice with plenty to choose from. All the staff were very friendly, would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
