I have been in in a lot of hotels in BUD over the years. This very well priced comfortable hotel with its very friendly staff is - although being one of the cheaper hotels- worth to be really recommended. They care about you even if you arrive late at night or have to leave very early in the morning. More

The hotel was OK, a little bit too expensive but I chose to overpay rather then to have any problem in the former communist hotel. The staff was nice, helpful to the point I needed (I have been to Budapest several times and known it very well) and followed my requests. And they spoke English (not the standard in Hungary).... Clean, comfortable and a good location. It is located two blocks from the Elisabeth Bridge on the Buda side one block from the Danube. This makes for pleasant walks along the Danube. Relatively easy walk to Pest and the market over the Elisabeth bridge. A couple of excellent restaurants within three blocks. Breakfast is included and is quite good. More
