Spacious rooms, quality in everything they have done, all small details are done to perfection, pool and sauna etc. all very nice, staff friendly, location the best...in other words my favorite choice in Budapest. What a wonderful hotel. Very welcoming and genuinely friendly staff. Excellent location. Clean, spacious rooms and great breakfast (smoked salmon and champagne anyone?). Clean Spa, just a bit small. We will most definitely visit again. Only bad point is that you must pay to watch T.V/Films but that's not uncommon. Recommend! more

Stayed at the Kempinski for my husbands 40th Birthday. The hotel upgraded our room and had a bottle of complimentary champagne in our room, on return from breakfast. This hotel is amongst the very best I have stayed. It provides absolutely excellent accommodation and service but permits a truly unique hungarian experience. The multilingual staff cannot do enough to help. Excellent!!! more

Can get a good deal here on expedia etc. Take breakfast option if possible. excellent breakfast, dear if you pay breakfast rates. similarly drinks and meals quite prohibitively expensive, but a range of restaurants close by, including cyrano and boom&brass. nice spa area, nice service, free wireless! no complimentary bottle of water - why? is that not considered a necessity... more

A fantastic hotel, within walking distance of the Vaci Ut ca, Opera House , Museums,and St Stephens Basilica. Great location on one of the famous 'market squares' to the front, and main shopping area to the rear. I have only good comments re the hotel, though a few tips...order your own taxi, as they use an 'executive cab' which charges significantly more; drinks are very expensive. This is one of the best located hotels, right in the centre of things and beside a main metro station so you could not be better positioned. The main shopping streets are close by and there is an abundance of restaurants and coffee shops. One or two stops on the metro will take you to wherever you want to go... more
