Situated in 3 stops by buses 8, 112, 239 and night bus from metro Ferenciek. It takes 5 min to go metro or center. Rooms are medium, but no TV. I think we don't need it anyway. Our number was on 5th floor. There is no elevator. So that was so difficult to go up after Budapest whole day walking.... More

Good for sleep-overs and breakfast, and you can park a car free in a nearby street. Decent room, nice bathroom and everything was clean, which I think is most important. Breakfast was wery good too. If you can, take the room that does not look at street, as is is a noisy one, even at night. 15€ per person for... More

We stayed here with my girlfriend for one night and everything was fine. Great staff, excelent prize and really close to center. Three bus stops or walk about 20 minutes. Also very good breakfast. For one-night stay it is ideal place.

We hadn't booked a hotel on beforehand, so we found Hotel Bara and where showed a room. The room was dated but clean, the price was reasonable and the underground parking space for the car was a surplus. We had been shown a twin room and asked if they also had doubles. They booked us a double but it was... More

Bed sheets were dirty and I found a tiny bug under them. The room was noisy even though the hotel seemed to be mostly empty. The TV was also out of order (expect no remote control even if you get a working one). For wifi in the room you get charged by the hour and the speed was noticeably slow.

Good value with friendly, helpful staff and a good continental breakfast. Good bus links from outside of the hotel to the city centre. The lift wasn't working so we had to walk up approximately 40 stairs with all of our luggage. The room was very hot with no air conditioning and situated on a busy road so very noisy with... More

Once we saw our room we immediately checked out. We had to pay for one night's stay and the manager refused to make an exception. She said they would call the Police if we did not pay for one night. Rooms are very small, the bed was very hard. The manager said, "What do you expect from a 3 star... More

I reached the hotel after 30 hours of flight from Mexico. But what the hotel had to offer was a room some where remotely located in the gallery. The path leading to my room resembled a bunker. Only difference was a bunker is underground, but here I had to climb stairs (atleast 30, with 25 KG of luggage). The rooms... More

The hotel was suggested by the organizers of a conference, so we booked without thinking twice. The rooms are dirty and I found blood stains on my pillows and towels. I was sharing a room with a colleague and we have been sleeping on couches. The sheets did not even cover the whole couch. The shower did not have warm... More

Hotel is actually fine apart from 2 things: the beds are near impossible to get a good nights sleep in as they are so hard it's back-breaking, and the girl working the breakfast kept telling people off for all kinds of things. Seriously, there is no need to shout at people because they get things wrong! Location is a little... More
