For a 4 star hotel, I didn't expect much from this hotel. First of all, they seemed to have a problem understanding English. No matter whom I talked to, at any time of the day, often had to repeat several times to be understood - and I've traveled extensively and come to Hungary many times and never had this problem.
Secondly the level of service is "friendly incompetence". Meaning they are the nicest people on the planet, but they will tell you matter of factly they won't help you.
For one thing, they falsely advertise high speed internet in the rooms. This is if: 1) you bring an ethernet cable with you as they often run out of them in the lobby and 2.) if you do not plan on connecting to your work VPN / network. Now I don't know about you, but unlimited surfing of "google" is not my idea of high speed internet when I think of a business trip. It wouldn't be so bad if it was indicated at the beginning, but it WORKED the first day, and for some... more
