Found this place on the Ferry over as we thought Picton might make a better bet than Blenheim (as it did) as a place to base ourselves in Marlborough. We stayed for a couple of nights, large, very well equiped and set out apartments. Owners will arrange for breakfasts to be brought in if you want them. Ideal as a base for touring. Happy to recommend on that basis. Used the swiss restaurant on the seafront and had a fantastic meal of locally caught red snapper. more

Stayed here for a night after arriving by ferry before setting out on a week trip on the south island. Not close enough to the ferry to walk if you have bags but a short cab ride. Car rental agency will bring car to the hotel. Room was clean and neat. more
