Celia's Place is an ideal place to stay. Warm, welcoming with the hostess' lifetime of collection of books and art adding to the charm. Walking distance to subway, Eastern Market as well as the Mall. Would definitely recommend especially for the single female traveler!

Beautiful house and unbelievable location if you're working on Capitol Hill -- just behind the Library of Congress and a five-minute walk away from the Capitol itself. Celia's house is beautiful, filled with lovely things and she's an extremely welcoming and interesting host. The bedroom isn't large, but you have a book-lined study all to yourself! Highly recommended.
