I really enjoyed my recent stay at The Embassy Circle Guest House in DC. This inn is elegant, comfortable, spacious, friendly, and very clean. It is as advertised! My wife couldn’t make the trip so I was only able to stay one night. Owners Laura and Raymond and their staff are very friendly and engaging and made feel right at... More

We recently stayed at the Embassy Circle guest house in Washington DC and everything about the experience was outstanding. The house is gorgeous - the rooms are large and comfortable, the decor is tasteful and lovely. Laura and Raymond were the very best hosts, welcoming and ready with lots of suggestions on things to do, places to eat. Great breakfast.... More

Raymond greets you at the door. Laura holds court in the sitting room, dispensing wine and advice on where to eat and what to see, making sure to introduce all the guests. The house has been masterfully restored by Raymond. The rooms are tastefully decorated with modern bathrooms. Breakfasts are good - make that fantastic on weekends when Raymond is... More

We have traveled extensively all over the world and few hotels can compete with the level of service and comfort offered at the Embassy Circle Guest House. The house is beautiful and every thoughtful detail has been attended to. The owners, Laura and Raymond Saba are present to ensure that every person is welcomed and all guests' needs are met.... More

Every year I attend the annual meeting of the Transportation Research Board which is held at the nearby Hilton, Marriot and Shoreham hotels at the end of January. I have stayed at the Embassy Circle Guest House the past two years and have enjoyed my stay. The location is great, the place is immaculate and the rooms are very comfortable.... More

We enjoyed a wonderful week’s stay in late October 2010. Laura and Raymond greeted us with a warm, friendly welcome at the front door. Stepping inside their lovely home was as pleasant as going home for the holidays. A cordial staff member gave us a tour of the house and settled us in our room. In the morning breakfast consisted... From wine hour to Scandanavian-style breakfasts, from antique furniture to peace and quiet in the middle of bustling Dupont Circle, Embassy Circle B&B was like a home away from home. Raymond and Laura go out of their way to make everyone who stay feel special. Conversation with hosts and guests was always stimulating. I have already booked my return stay... More

This is a beautiful place and I loved staying here. The website provides an indication of how much care and attention to detail the hosts have taken. The building itself is gorgeous; the rooms are beautifully done. There is a toothbrush holder in the bathroom, for example: such a handy thing, and so rare! Comfy beds. Breakfasts were convivial; it... More

This review is not quite true. About six months ago, this guest cancelled her one-night reservation on her scheduled day of arrival due to a weather emergency. At the time, she wanted a refund or full credit toward a future stay. We told her that we could not offer a refund or full credit, but that we would offer her... More
