I would give a 4.5 star rating, but not able to choose :) The biggest perk of this hotel is that it is just around the corner from the DuPont Circle Metro stop. There are a number of places to eat (casual and upscale) that are within a 5 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Flight got in... More

I stayed in this hotel on a high school trip last weekend. We came to the city for sightseeing and stayed two nights. It was an okay hotel- the staff was accommodating when we had questions. They gave me a toothbrush (I forgot mine) but it was very cheap and a one-use flimsy kind. The beds were comfortable, but the... More

This place is in a great location next to the DuPont Circle metro station. The hotel was clean and the service was very good. The price is good for DC. There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, so no room service. In the area there are plenty bars and restaurants to fill this void. Don’t hesitate to stay... More

I'm staying at this hotel right now--I'm a week into my 3 week stay here. I would very much recommend this hotel to any one if you plan to make it a short trip. The location is great. The hotel is quiet (not sure if my room is in a different section of the hotel vs other reviews--room 627). The... More

I stayed at this hotel, which was a Hilton in April 2011, due to its location, which is close to Dupont Circle, lots of restaurant choices and a block from the metro. And therein lies the problem; my room was right over the metro line. I don't know what hours the metro runs, but it was long enough into the... More

The first thing about the hotel to consider is the location , the metro station is nearby and the are many many attractions, bars, restaurants around the dupont circle ! The hotel used to be a great hotel in the past but according to todays standards is ok,to access the reception and the elevators you have to go down couple of stairs... More

We booked late with expedia, but we were treated to a high quality hotel, for a reasonable price. Well located for exploring the city. Welcoming staff, always available if required. We had a lovely room, clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The breakfast was an added bonus as we had not expected it. All in all a great place that I... More

This hotel is in the Dupont Circle nighborhood. With-in a few blocks you can find great food and shopping. Just a block away is a Metro station, making this a convient location for a weekend in DC. All of the staff were freindly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The furnature is begining to look a little... More

Upon a friend's advice we chose the Dupont Circle area for us to stay when we visited Washington in Sept. 2011. We looked for a reasonably priced hotel and found the Embassy Row Hotel in Massachusetts Ave (100m northwest of Dupont Circle). A lucky strike it was. We stayed there three nights. The location is excellent, literally just around the... More

Personally, I like to see a city on foot, with a little help from public transportation. This hotel is so close to Dupont Circle that you could walk to the White House, or to the bars in Adams Morgan, or you could hop on the Metro and go almost anywhere else (except Georgetown). And when you get back, the fluffiest... More
