This hotel is on top of a metro station that is 2 stops (2 minutes) from the centro station which brings you right out in central washington just round the corner form Ford's Theatre and only 1 stop on the blue line to the Smithsonian museums.

I spent 10 nights here on a business trip, the hotel is a bit "old" but staff are friendly and helpful. the location is good, over a Metro and walking distance to Smithsonians. Arcade under has a food court for a quick breakfast on your way to the metro.

What distinguishes this hotel from others is their courteous service. There was not one person that I met during my stay that was not pleasant, helpful, and appeared to genuinely concerned about my comfort and satisfaction. Our government agency required us to stay 11 days at this hotel. The water is luke warm at best, beds are hard as a rock, the rooms have no thermostate, its either high, medium or low, take your pick. No use contacting the front desk as they just say they will tell the manager. All this for $183.00 a night!!!
