The hotel met our expectations as read on their own web-site. Metrostation Foggy Bottum and big supermarket at short walkingdistance. Excellent beds, clean rooms, small kitchen was good enough for the two of us, friendly staff. We would go back for sure!

We really enjoyed staying at The River Inn! It has a very good location, close to the metro, close to grocery stores and with a kitchen you can eat in the room and save money. The staff was always pleasant and helpful and the room was immaculate with nice linens and felt upscale. It's a very good value for DC.

We were pleased with the hotel. Two blocks from Trader Joes & Whole Foods to stock fridge. The staff was extremely attentive. Convenient having restaurant in hotel. Just north of Lincoln Memorial, couple blocks from Potomac & Georgetown. Great experience.
