Attended a party in their top floor banquet area. View of the White House couldn't be beat. The food was fantastic. Unbelievable fresh seafood, crab cakes and lobster mac and cheese. Hotel is elegant and under stated.

We had supper in the 'off the record' bar downstairs and had the best lamb chops ever ! Brilliant atmosphere, great supper menu, impeccable service, great wines and cocktails and just a short walk from the Sofitel, where were staying (but don't tell them !)

I stayed at the Hay-Adams for a conference. The staff was attentive to every detail. The charm of the rooms and size of the rooms were exceptional. Located directly across from the White House, the top of the Hay provided a perfect setting for the conference and social in the evening. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Top of the Hay Adams provides the most beautiful view in DC for a cocktail party, and the staff there bends over backwards to accommodate guests' wishes. Very nice! Great view, adequate staff, and an extremely comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay. I feel the service could have been better; the champagne and chocolate strawberries in the room were hot and melted, but the room itself was very comfortable with a view of the White House and wonderfully detailed woodwork.

Top notch in every regard. Beautifully furnished room, gorgeous linens, attentive, friendly staff and excellent service. I was there for a two day business event held in the top floor function room overlooking Lafayette Park and the White House. Hard to beat the view, the food service, etc.
