The hotel was fine, it was a great location for us as we were attending National Geographic functions for several days. Our usual hotel was booked, and the Madison turned out to be a bit nicer. Be sure to ask if there is a discount you qualify for, or it may also be a bit more expensive.

The Madison hotel is located in the city centar, just a few blocks from the White House. I was expecting luxury hotel, but it is actually good 4* business hotel. Ok rooms, nothing extra. Overall, I was not disappointed nor thrilled.

Excellent hotel! Rooms and meeting spaces were wonderful. The location was great. We were able to walk to restaurants and to the White House. We held a meeting here and everyone on the staff was very friendly and willing to help. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and pleasure. I hope to visit again soon.

When I first entered my room, I thought, eh, this room seems fine, but, then I laid down on the bed. Wow, great pillows, great bed, I slept extremely well. Conveniently located just outside of the city but still near The White House, this hotel was a joy to come back to and the end of our busy days. Everyone on the staff were friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. Clean room, very nice bars. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends

As other reviewers have noted, the Madison has an exceptionally friendly and professional staff. The rooms are an interesting blend of boutique hotel furniture with many classic Washington, DC touches. Excellent wines by the glass at the hotel bar as well.
