This is one of the worst motels I've ever stayed in! The only reason for this review is to warn others, I would give it no stars if I could. We've worked various positions in motels for over 11 years and know what to look for in checking rooms- cleanliness and maintenance, unfortunately we were really tired and didn't check well. The only good thing I can say is we didn't have bed bug issues. We require a pet friendly room on the ground floor due to handicap, 2 beds and smoking is a bonus. When calling for rates, the desk clerk was rude about giving directions from the interstate, it only got worse on arrival. We told her what we needed and she gave us a room that was on the second floor, before we insisted on a different room. The beds were uncomfortable with springs that sounded 100 years old when we moved on the bed. Went back to the office to look for restaurant brochures/menus- they had none, so I asked for suggestions for what was close and was told she doesn't know anything because she just works there. Came back from eating to find roaches near the vanity sink. The door didn't lock properly. The bathroom door looked as if someone had punched it repeatedly with large holes, the bathtub was dirty-looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, hair in a couple of washcloths and grease on another. In my opinion, the whole crew should be fired . The owners should be ashamed of this place .Don't stay, waste of money. Awful experience!…

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. My A/C went out at my house and the a/c guy didn’t have the part to complete the job so will return the following day. It’s July 27,2023 and my house is scorching hot and I was unable to sleep. I went to Econo Lodge off Cowan Rd Acworth 30101 I was charged $79.10 which I thought was good for the night and was told the A/C was working good. Walked in to an awful smell, cigarette burns in the duvet, I opened the fridge to put my coffee creamer and cockroaches was running around, stains on the ottoman & carpet. I got bitten by something sitting in the armchairs while calling the reception. A/C was not working. Was told to check out but will not get a refund. I told her to call the manager and tell him/her I will post these photos of cockroaches, cigarette burns on the bedding and stains on the mattress. She call me back saying I can’t find the bug spray so come check out for a full refund. Like finding the bug spay was gonna do it for me. This place should be reported to the BBB it’s disgusting and filthy, dirty.…

I don't usually write Negative reviews . Felt I needed to make an exception. We were traveling to IL from FL. and phoned ahead because it would be late when we arrived. We had reserved two rooms. The lobby is closed so everything is done through the night window. There were two people working, and neither seemed to have any idea how to do a check in. It took at least 20 min. We had been on the road 10 hrs and ready for a bed. The rooms were clean and the beds were ok. The process to check out was just as slow. There was no breakfast. If you are tired, or in a hurry might want to find another, more efficient ran Hotel.

Let me start by saying, we deliver RVs, so we stay in many hotels / motels. We are Choice hotel chain members, and are very happy with Choice. This property represents Choice very poorly! This is by far the nastiest motel we have stayed in. To start off with, the checkin clerk was way less than helpful. My wife asked for an extra towel, and was told NO. Are you kidding me!!!! Secondly, we have a registered service dog, and while checking in, we're made VERY aware that if any stains were found, we would not get our $15 deposit back. Again, are you kidding me, because upon entering the room, an arroma that made us want to puke immediately filled our noses! After wiping everything down with lysol, we discovered a small coch roach. Knowing we couldn't get our money back as we checked in late, we proceeded. Next we turned the bed down only to find all kinds of hair. Gross!! The vinyl flooring in spots, stuck to our boots as we moved around. You can't tell me that was cleaned sticking to our boots! There was trash on the floor, no batteries in the smoke alarm, and to top it off, the heater didn't work right. The fact that they were worried about my service dog, who sleeps on the floor in her own bed and has never caused a problem is a joke! I'm ashamed that I made her stay in that dump! The motel should be condemned!! Don't waste your money. Keep going, or find a good dumpster if you have to. It would be cleaner!…

I needed a low-cost room for a business trip and believed Choice was making changes. I was wrong. The front desk clerk was nice and gave me hopes despite my initial review when pulling into the dirty parking area and seeing the outside condition of the building. I'll list a few issues: the smoky smell around the whole building; the dirty parking lot and walkways; water draining from all the AC units into the walkways; lack of care by the Mgr. of room issues (phone, TV, musty smell) after the receptionist tried to get help; suspicious persons coming and going in and out of rooms all night; housekeeping man who literally walked into my room and continued to yell "check out" even after telling him I was on the way out. (I tried to explain I thought checkout was noon and not 11am - I don't think he understood English; however, some etiquette would be expected.); two phone calls with a strange voice whispering suggestive comments; linens looked old, worn and stained; furniture was old and the bed creaked with every movement; the tub drained slow while taking a shower. I would go on but won't... This hotel is far below my expectations with changes in I’ve seen in Choice brand hotels trying to become a better value. (not the best, but at least a clean comfortable experience and a good night's rest)…

We were on our way to Michigan from Florida and needed to stop late at night due to a storm. Price quoted was 95! I questioned that since I saw it online for $59. Was told that was for 1 bed & 2 people. I used my phone & booked it free with points. I would definitely look elsewhere but it was too late & we were too tired. Our room was clean though Things have not been updated in years and there are maintenance issues. Light bulbs out. Fridge knobs broken. Chips in paint. Still, since I got it for points we were happy to get some rest

We had asked for a first floor room due to the fact that we were traveling with an older dog. I didn’t know that they would put us in the “slum room”. The security lock was completely gone from door, the smoke detector was hanging off the wall. There was a hole in bathroom door, and on the bathroom wall. The covers on bed felt sticky , had cigarette burns on blanket and spread. The lamp shade was falling apart , had cob webs in corners of room. The only so called comfortable chair, under the arm was completely torn. I will say that I will not be staying at this hotel again.
