There is a big speculation near the river, a lot of bulldozer are digging in the reserve. Probably for this reason we havent seen any animals, only a lot of mosquitos. At the reception doesn't explain nothing of the reserve. The lodge is ok if you use it as base to visit other places. The food is good.

We stayed at Monkey Bay for only 1 night but were still blown over by the hospitality. The grounds are nice and dotted with hammocks.
