If the hotel was in the USA it would be rated a 3* at the most but for San Ignacio area it is one of the better places to stay within walking distance to town & room prices were reasonable. Please dont get me wrong but it was just an average hotel. The staff were friendly enough but the hotel definitely is a bit tired/scruffy looking around the grounds and entrance. Nice folks and decent cabanas but nothing to write home about. The pool is nicely designed but was not clean. Food very average. Good beds. Terrible water pressure. It would all have been fine but the karaoke at the bar next door kept me up until 2am both nights we were there. I'd find another option. More
