We spent a couple of days at Janna's B&B, longer than we planned because of Janna's hospitality, her personality, the art and Janna's fantastic cooking. Janna intorduced us to great people around Panajachel who made our trip much much more exiting and interesting. Janna sent us to the best places around the lake and her advise were the best. More

Hello. I am very pleased that you were happy in my bed and breakfast. I would be interested in your opinion as to how I can improve the room and sleep quality as I see that those did not come up as high as the other points. I do take note of what my guests' opinion is and try to... More

My husband and I stayed with Jennifer Bigman at Jenna's River Bed and Breakfast for two weeks. We went to language school in the morning and enjoyed learning more about Maya culture afternoons and weekends. Lake Atitlan is a beautiful location, full of history with much to do. We were made comfortable immediately by Jennifer as we whisked off to... More

Thank you very much for having chosen to stay at my bed and breakfast. The prospect of having people come for a longer stay, two weeks, is always a little daunting, but I was more than pleased to host this charming couple. Two weeks, or ten weeks.... they would have been more than welcome. I hope you plan to come... More

We spent a couple of nights in Jenna's b&b in Panajachel. That was the highlight of our trip around Atitlan lake. we spent 4 other nights in the area, and Jenna's b&b topped them all. The home hosputality, and Jenniffer's cooking made it a special experience. Jennifer's knowledge of Guatemala, its culture and special attrections, made the rest of our... More

Jennifer is amazing - she makes you feel like you're part of the family. She is a fantastic chef and everyday we would look forward to amazing breakfast spread - mango juice, her great chutneys, crepes, huevos rancheros. Everything was top of the line. Also she has the cutest 3 dogs - who are most adorable. The only thing missing... More

Thank you for your review. First it was absolute pleasure to have you here. Its very helpful to me to know how I can make my clients more comfortable. I will of course see how to make the Annex warmer. Of course at this time of year, it is a bit chillier...60 at night instead of 65 degrees Fahrenheit. But... More

Excellent host (Jenna was interesting to talk to, a great cook. A lovely host). Excellent location, just off the lake and close to the town, but extremely peaceful. Excellent homemade/organic breakfast (see above, Jenna is a great cook). Lovely room and homely decorated (Jenna is also an artist and has good taste). Relaxing garden with hammock; in case you get... More

I was so fortunate to find this bed and breakfast. I chose it based on other reviews. Since I was traveling alone I wanted a place where someone would know if I didn't come home. The owner was so helpful before I even arrived. She answered every silly question I had promptly by email. She also arranged my airport pickup.... More

I was traveling along last month and I stayed in a lot places around South and Central America. Many of them were gorgeous but none of them compared to the hospitality and warmth of Jenna's Bed and Breakfast. The breakfasts are wonderful and I had a few meals there that were delicious. And it was great to be so near... More

I stayed at Jenna's place for 1 week. I arrived on a rainy chilly night and there was a "warm" welcoming fire place, a drink and a excellent meal. But the most warmth came from Jenna herself. I immediately felt myself at home. After a good night sleep in a really comfortably bed and nice decorated bedroom Jenna prepared me... More

it is reasonless asking 60 $ per night for this place ,despite the fact that the place looks clean , it is an open- place little gallery (no door).without bathroom /toilets nearby . you have to go down 1 floor than go out of the house and than decend 1 floor more outside to get to the toilets or douche.(imagine... Staying at Jenna's was an absolute treat!! We were the first people to stay in Jennifer's new place after her old b&b was destroyed by Hurricane Agatha.- It's now a 1 bed place rather than 5 but still absolutely wonderful. Jennifer met us from our bus and within 10 minutes we were in her little Oasis of a home near... More
