A very average hotel in the centra part in Tegucigalpa. The rooms are nice enough and everything worked ok. The breakfast was also average. The location of the hotel is good and quite central. The staff and the service are average and it was a bit typical.

Stayed just next door at their sister property Hotel Libertador. Plaza del General is under same ownership and rooms, service, price, restaurant are of equal quality to Libertador. It's a very average hotel. A good point is that it is in a safe residential area with armed security guards... important in this high-crime town. The hotel decor seems to be based on whatever oddments they could pick up at a local bargain basement -- mismatched wallpapers, lamps tiles, and furniture that have been spread around without any theme... Stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip, the bedrooms are ok but it can be very noisy with a nightclub next door and also a lot of noise coming from the corridor and neighbouring bedrooms.
