This hotel is located in an alley near one of the main roads in the heart of the medina. The hotel is extremely inexpensive and provides a "guide" that protects you from aggressive street vendors and from other guides. Our guide was great, as was the female manager ...but everything else was pretty terrible. My group stayed in early March,... More

The location is very good, you are in the medina. Price was great, and breakfast good enough. Our room was not very clean, and we didnt like the smell soi we asked it to be changed. That was done so our overall experieence is good.

Very central location in the Medina but in a back street so when you arrive, make sure you organise for Zac (who speaks a variety of languages fluently) to meet you somewhere. The dar is very pretty and well maintained, and the rooms are clean. A little dark, as all these places tend to be (riads have internal garden courtyards... More

This accommodation has some major advantages, but also some large disappointment's. Although hard to find on your own the first time, the location is great: right in de middle of Fes el Bali (medina). It is a must to stay in the medina for a couple of nights to catch the real atmosphere and energy of the city. The price... More

Sometimes it's hard to believe what other people write about a place. We stayed in the Riad in September, so it wasn't damp. At all. Yes, the place is hard to find, but it is in the medina of Fes, almost everything there is hard to find. Kind of its charm. And once one of the female staff members showed... More

A very pretty Dar set just off the mail street in the Medina. Quite hard to find unless you are shown. The hosts are very polite and helpful and breakfast on the roof is with a great view of the Medina. The breakfast is good with plenty of coffee. The rooms are adequate and have attached showers and loo. It... More

It's a really nice Riad in the heart of Medina, it's five minutes walking from the Blue Gate, but at the same time is far from noises, it's like an oasis of peace in the middle of the funny caos of Medina. Rooms are nice and comfortables, and they serve a wonderful breakfast on the nice terrace. A friendly and... More

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect, in a quiet corner a minute away from Talaa Kebira. The central courtyard is peaceful and charming. Breakfasts are plentiful. The rooms are basic but clean and en-suite with hot showers, although a bit dark as all windows lead to the courtyard.

Pros: Beautiful 17th century interior Very quiet Super helpful, warm and friendly staff. Zak and his team really helped us out a lot. Reasonably priced (for Fes, anyway) Cons: Bathrooms are small and wet Cold in winter, though the rooms do have A/C Hard to find - ask for someone to meet you at the gate This is a great... More

The first very annoying thing is the remotness of this place-it's hard to find it yourself, and the hustlers the owner would sent for you to the airport would hardly try to rip you off... the second and I guess the worst thing is the overwhelming dump of this place......water from the bathroom would flood you stuff in the room...
