We are happy that we took our friends recommendation to stay here. Shortly after booking our room online we received an email from the owner, who offered to arrange for us to be picked up at the train station. Without having been in the medina before, I doubt we would have found our way alone. The map that the Riad... More

We stayed in the suite for four, with four friends. The room was very nice with two double beds. The single bathroom is shared, so if you stay there with four you need to coordinate who showers first :) Not really a problem, but you might want to consider to take two double rooms with a bathroom each. Overall the... More

My friends and I stayed 4 nights in Riad Zitouna and all and all it was a good experience. The manager emailed me ahead to ask if we would like to be picked up at the airport and I agreed knowing from other reviews that the Riad would be hard to find. Our driver was waiting for us, just as... More

We stayed at Dar Zitouna in Fez in August. It was the worst experience we had in 6 weeks of travelling. The room was dirty, toilet broken and smelly, pool was slimy and could not use. The owner was rude. No drinking water in rooms, no map provided for medina ( this is essential to find your way around the... More

We stayed 3 nights in Riad Zitouna in May 2012. The rooms and riad are very clean. The Morrocan breakfast is really nice. The riad is situated in the centre of the Medina. We arrived by taxi from the train station and a little carriage pushed by a man got our luggage to the Riad. We received a lot of... More

i booked into the riad based on good reviews and the fact that it has an in-house hammam. unfortunately though, i have never been so strangely treated in a hotel before, and left after just one night instead of my scheduled four. i was arriving by overnight bus coming from merzouga which usually arrives about 4am. i had advised the... We stayed here 23rd - 26th Feb 2012, 3 days at the end of a 9 day trip around Morocco. We were arriving late; I emailed the manager/owner about this and was told a taxi could be organised to get us from the station, and a dinner would be prepared for us. I knew this would be costly, but given... More

This is a nicely restored riad in the amazing medina. The swimming pool, though small, is a relief in the heat of the summer days. The room is airconditionned. The terrace is a peaceful place where to sit after dinner to enjoy the sweet air of the night and to hear the calls to the prayer coming from different directions.... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this riad at the beginning of our trip to Morocco - it was so beautiful, amazingly restored, lots of attention given to every detail and a real delight to stay in. Laurence and Agnes were friendly and helpful, food was good. I can't recommend it highly enough. A really peaceful oasis in the middle... More

We stayed for two nights. The rooms were clean and the riad itself was really nice. Don't bother getting the dinner they offer; it wasn't anything special. The only down side about the riad was that it was very hard to find. The staff wasn't very helpful, suggesting that we pay a kid to help us find it. A map... More
