People very friendly. The place is nice, but I have to admit, the pictures are actually better than the real thing. Located at a short walking distance from a little square/round-about, you need not worry about getting mugged or losing your way once you get off a "petit taxi."

While the room was lovely and comfortable it was on the roof reached by over 60 steep twisting steps so you need to be fit. couldn't pop down to the pool area etc. without serious thought or if something was wrong with the room. Breakfast was poor and could only be classed as continental. Asked for pick up service and... More

We stayed at the Riad Layali on our recent trip to Fes in March, we picked this Riad as it had some great reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The Riad is very traditional and beautifully finished inside with superb views from the rooftop terrace of the medina and the... More

The Riad is nice, with beautiful tiles downstairs, some spacious suites and good double room on the roof. We had a pleasant stay, which was unfortunately spoilt on the last day. We'd asked for a taxi at 7.00 and they's offered us breakfast, But unfortunately we got neither. And we could not leave to get another taxi as the front... More

Fes was our last stop in Morocco, and we stayed in hotels in Marrakech and Casablanca. I was concerned we would be roughing it at a Riad, but au contraire! The Riad Layali is not only modern and beautiful, but a memoriable Morocco experience . The taxi driver called the Riad to get directions, and we were dropped off at... More

Nice riad because recentrly renewed. Service normal, breakfast quite impossible before 8- 8.30. Staff doesn't offer any service or suggestion, unless asked at least a couple of time if not more. The best part was being moved to another riad, in a worse, smaller, old and smelly less expensive room with an excuse of a problem of electrical energy concerning... More

Great riad, so beautiful inside, the photos don't do it justice. Lovely roof terrace to relax on in the evening. Rooms are beautiful and the hosts are so friendly and accommodating, you really are made to feel at home. Breakfast was great, a nice selection of bread, honey and jams, good start to the day. As it is located just... More

We found this riad by happenstance. The other place we were going to stay in (Riad Laayoun) had no rooms available. However, we were able to sneak a peek inside, just to get an idea of what to expect with the riads. Mind you the outside of the riad gives you absolutely no clue as to what it's like on... More
