My sister, my friend, and I (all females) stayed at Dar Anabar's sister Riad, DAR ANEBAR SGHIRA, which is just across the alleyway from the main Dar Anabar, this November (2011). The rooms were nice and clean and very quaint with local decor. The cleanliness was above average, as well as the amenities, though comparably priced, for places we stayed... More

I stayed in the annexe which is just across the lane from the original riad. The room was smallish, simply furnished but spotlessly clean, with pretty colored glass windows looking into a small central courtyard. Hot water available 24 hours with good pressure. It is very quiet. The free wifi available in the main riad did not reach to the... More

Thank you Ahmed for your care of us during our stay. The Riad is beautiful and relaxing your staff welcoming and very helpful. Especially when we arrived back exhautsted from our forrays outside and feeling that we had somehow been targets of yet more little scams. You even went beyond the call of duty at 6:00am in the morning when... More

Dar Anebar is really quite lovely. The courtyard is beautiful, and the service is impeccable. Everyone is friendly and attentive. The maitre d' is so helpful, making some great recommendations for dinner. We had stayed in the annex, which is a great bargain. You get all the amenities and the services of the main part of the hotel, but at... More

Not much to add that hasn't already been said - it's as good as they say. We had booked onto one of the annex rooms on people's recommendation. When we arrived we were shown to the room and although small it was all we needed - decent beds, clean shower, bright and airy. Then we were offered a free upgrade... More

Dar Anebar is a rare & beautiful experience. Not only is the place a stunning example of Moroccan beauty but the welcoming nature of Ahmed and his staff was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and I truly felt at home. If your coming to Fes, Dar Anebar is a must. More

We were staying elsewhere, but when we asked out guide for a restaurant recommendation he booked Dar Anebar for us. The owner, Ahmed Azami, who was a charming host, collected us from our riad and transported us back at the end of what was a fabulous meal. The food, service and ambiance were all excellent, and we also had the... More

I work in the hospitality business, so in my line of work it's all about providing an unforgettable experience. Dar Anebar and owner, Ahmed Azami, far exceeded all expectations. We stayed at Le Riad Fès and Dar Anebar was recommended. It was not in walking distance, so the hotel relayed that Dar Anebar would send someone to pick-us up. We... More

We came to be at Dar Anebar, since the adjacent Riad Tafilalet was fully booked, apparently there is some kind of cooperation between them. The restaurant and reception are on one side of the alley, the suites right across. We got two doubles with an open sitting area between them. I guess that when the other rooms are occupied this...
