Having booked riad khol online using pictures and info of the musc suite as a guide , we were shown to a totally different room from the pictures with no private terrace ,cold decor . It was not to my liking ,very noisy , wifi not working.. Still looking for the jacuzzi on the terrace After making our disappointment apparent... More

Normally the words 'airport transfer' would make my skin crawl. I don't do holidays, I do travelling. For some reason though, this time was different. Everything was planned. Am I getting old? Or was journeying with my pregnant wife shrouding my sense of adventure? Whatever the reason, strolling into the arrivals lounge at Marrakech to be greeted by our affable... More

I must be honest and say that our arrival has tainted my view on this riad. on stopping at nearby street a young man offered to carry our luggage. after arriving at riad and having the door opened by staff weremy husband realised that he only had one euro to tip the guy. the young man got very abusive and... We wanted to experience a traditional Moroccan Riad and meal, but we were very disappointed with Riad Khol. The Riad was cold, and we were met with stale pastries (with a long black hair on the plate) and luke warm mint tea. We had emailed a dinner reservation the day before, but the manageress told us that the cook was... More

The staff were delightfully, helpful & thoughtful. The hotel was cold, our room was very dingy but clean and our bed very uncomfortable. The outdoor pool was just a plunge pool shaded in the centre of the atriaum of the Riad. The dining room is uniquely tiny. Based in the Medina this is a pretty basic hotel, but with the most... More

We stayed in this riad for a few days in February, and we found it a very pleasurable experience in every way. The interiors both of the rooms and the common parts are stylish and sophisticated, the ambiance is perfect, the staff (with a special mention to Hamid) is always helpful and careful, minding every little detail. The location for... More

If you are looking for a traditional experience and relaxing break this is an excellent place. It is very close to the main centre of the Medina and within walking distance of the main sites of the Kasbah (20 mins walk). The rooms are quite basic and small but we loved the cosy atmosphere and warm hospitality of all the... More

Really lovely if you wanted to stay in a traditional riad in Marrakesh. Staff were really nice and gave you mint tea without asking for it! The rooms were very nice but basic. Breakfast on the roof in the morning was great. Incense sticks burning thru the day with birds twittering everywhere. Would really recommend it

Reading all these good revues makes us think that perhaps we went to the wrong Riad. First of all, the room, on the ground floor. We very quickly called it "The Bat Cave".Very poor lighting and we had to ask on several occasions to get a new bulb for the bed light. Breakfast was a joke. Bits of tatty bread,... More

One of the most welcoming and friendly places we have ever stayed. Staff made us feel a valued part of a family. Hamid was always cheerfully at hand to answer questions, suggest and organise restaurants etc, and provide information. Fatah was the same although we saw a bit less of him. Both patiently tried to understand my exceedingly elementary French... More
