We just got back from a lovely holiday in Marrakech. As I was going to celebrate my 50th birthday I invited my Mum, husband, grown up daughter and son with me. I found Riad Jona on the Internet as I was surfing around. It looked so cosy and warm and since we were travelling in late January and in the... More

We arrived in Marrakech on November 5th, having booked with Riad Jona a week prior by email. We had never been to Morocco and had no idea what we were doing, but Riad Jona was exactly as all the reviews said. Julien arranged pick up from the airport (slight hitch there but nothing major - they just weren't there when... More

I stayed at Riad Jona for my Birthday this year and it was absolutely fantastic. Having not been to Marrakech before, we asked Julien to arrange a transfer for us from the airport to the Riad. I’m so glad we did otherwise we’d never have found it. I highly recommend this option if it is your first visit to Marrakech.... More

Riad Jona is a fantastic Riad. I stayed in the Warda room which was large and beautifully decorated with rose petals. The food was wonderful. The first night I had chicken pastilla (which I never had before) and on my last night, chicken tagine. Breakfast was plentiful and they offered different options each time. Although I didn't eat on the... More

Warm friendly welcome from the staff, fantastic building and rooms and great food. It was an oasis of calm in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Perfect quiet location, easy to find and only two minutes from the Djemaa El Fna. We received a phone call the day before our arrival to ask what we'd like to... More

After a big research, we decided to choose Riad Jona and we couldn't be more happy. It´s a great place, right in the medina, 5 minutes walking to the Djemaa El Fna, with a parking nearby. The decoration is beautifull, the quality and simpathy of all the staff is excelent. And the terrace is magnificent, on the morning breakfast or... More

The riad is just the best !!! It's in the medina, very near to the Djemaa El Fna, but in a quiet little street. Very helpful and competent staff. Marrakesh itself is still a great place to spend a week. I'll be back for sure. One last tip : don't miss Fatima's cuisine in the riad, simply the best in... More

Having not visited before we did not quite know where to stay in Marrakech. We had heard of Riads but to be honest had no idea what to really expect. We certainly did not want to stay in a potentially impersonal European style hotel on the city outskirts or in Gueliz. Essentially we wanted to be in the medina, so... More

Beautiful riad at a top location (not even 5 minutes from the "place djemaa el fna" and close to other attractions / bus stop for city tours). The rooms are ok (the ones on the first floor are probably a bit more quiet then the ones on the ground/top floor). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And they serve great... More

What an amazing find this was, we almost don't want to tell you about it in case it gets too busy and we cannot book in the next time we are in Marrakesh. But we will. A car collected us from the airport and dropped us in a side street, where a gentleman with a trolley collected our luggage and... More
