We very much enjoyed our stay at Palmeiras Guest House. It is centrally located, comfortable, safe and good value. We also really liked the garden area where you could have breakfast or relax in the afternoon.

We stayed here twice in one trip and loved it! The staff were so kind and helpful - although sometimes finding them in the guesthouse was tricky. The breakfast was the best we had in Mozambique, selection of fruit, pastries, yogurts, teas, cereals and more. The rooms were big and had good size bathrooms with hot water. Not a noisy... More

This is one of the best B&Bs i've ever stayed in. Arriving in the sweltering heat, noise and stench of Maputo, Palmeiras Guest House is like an oasis. Very centrally placed, beautiful spacious clean rooms and bathrooms, extremely helpful staff, and beautiful central courtyard with tropical garden. The highlight of the stay was the magnificent breakfast spread, with a spectacular... More

Very nice place to stay when you are in Maputo. It's very central. Very nice and clean rooms, free wifi. The owner offers you to arrange a pick up at the airport. The breakfast is really very good: Fresh fruit salad, fresh juices, a lot of different cakes and many more things.

All staff were sweet, but management was notably attentive & responsive. Breakfast fare was excellent, it varied daily. A B&B, so it's simple - but the decor is charming & amenities are excellent, Due to business demands, sometimes I was too bushed to go out for dinner - no problem, as I ate my deli meals on the patio. The... More

This cozy guesthouse has only five rooms, so book in advance if you want to stay there. My room was quite spacious, with fridge, tv, wifi. The twin beds were clean, as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was great, with a awesome fresh papaya-or-something-exotic-like juice. It's normally priced with respect to the rest of Maputo (2800 meticais a single, 3600... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Palmeiras Hotel. The room was clean and tidy but fairly basic. Not a lot of english is spoken by the staff. The buffet breakfast was great and could be eaten out in the courtyard which was very tranquil. There are two cute little cats that sit out in the courtyard all... More

My boyfriend and I visited Maputo for only one night, but long enough to experience the charm and friendliness of Palmerias Guesthouse. Great breakfast, small, but clean rooms, centrally located and quiet. And last, but not least - the extremely friendly and helpfull staff. Celia and her son proved their truly kindness and service mindedness when they helped us out... More
