We booked into this hotel for three nights at the end of a week long tour of Rwanda, looking forward to a cosy, boutique hotel experience to round off an adventure filled week in this amazing country. It didn't really live up to expectations to be honest. Frustratingly, in our view, the positives about this hotel (cool decor, great location,... More

We stayed here for 4 nights for a mix of business and pleasure. We travelled with 2 kids and they allowed us to place 2 mattresses on the floor (inside our own portable net) at no extra cost. The neighbourhood is fantastic with several good restaurants and the city centre within walking distance. Tha staff were extremely friendly and accommodating... More

We spent 5 nights. It's a small hotel, only 6 rooms. We had some problems with closing our door and the light of our room. The people were nice and helpful, so everything was fine. You only receive breakfast in the morning, for dinner there are some restaurants nearby . It was a good experience, even though the swimming pool... More

At $115/night, Inside Afrika is an expensive choice for Kigali. The B&B is basic with average cleanliness, and poor breakfast (toast and coffee essentially). The front desk staff is very nice, although quite unhelpful with regards to advice around Kigali. They also charge $20 for airport transfer. For not much more than that, I stayed at the Umubano Hotel, which... More

The hotel arranged for us to be picked-up at the airport by Francis for a cost of $20 USD and we drove approx twenty minutes until we reached the hotel. The hotel is located in a lovely leafy suburb of Kigali and approx 15 minute walk to the main shopping district of the town. It is behind a wall and... More

12 of us were travelling together to celebrate my husbands birthday. Due to the number of us I booked quite awhile ago and hence used them as a bit of a sounding board to help with the rest of the trip. We couldnt have been happier. Communication with us before hand was quick and helpful, the staff were beautiful especially... More

I have lived in Rwanda for a year and really wanted to try this new hotel, so I booked it for family the night they arrived in Kigali. Unfortunately, when we arrived, they acted as if they did not have our reservation (even though I called 2 times to confirm). In addition, instead of admitting they lost the reservation, they... I stayed here two nights, and it was the best room of my three week tour. Beautiful view across a quiet pool (no one swam in it, more like a reflecting pond - but you can use it). Nice staff. And the internet worked all the time! Good breakfast. Safe location, with a security guard on duty. Nice decorations, and... More

After three months teaching in Rwanda my husband joined me and we stayed in Inside Afrika room 103. It was glorious. The pool was right at our door and I swam every chance I got. After many cold showers, the hot shower was nirvana. And swimming was heavenly. Loved the breakfast. The staff are wonderful. So glad to de stress... More

We were a group of three couple visiting Kigali. One of our party booked this boutique hotel for our four night stay and it was fantastic! Great and friendly staff, located within walking distance of the city centre and a number of restaurants. Safe neighborhood (the whole city seemed very safe at all hours with no cautionary tales of after... More
