This is a utilitarian hotel, but that is fine for me. It is down a quiet Soi north of Khao San, and the latter is easily avoidable. The rooms are large, though they lack windows. The a/c is great, the hot water reliable, and the staff welcoming and very helpful. Good restaurants are nearby, and 7/11's abound. There are easy... More

As the title suggests, Rajata hotel is a good option because its close to khao san road but still you can have a peaceful time. There are many good restaurants within minutes of this hotel in this pranakorn village area. The rooms have tiled floors and high ceilings and most have air con and cable tv. Its the most humid... For 900baht a night you can get a much better place. The bathroom is old. There was a door leading into another guests room that couldn't be locked properly. Super average. Walk across the road to Nakorn Pink for a cheaper price and better stay.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights in feb 2013. We were backpacking through Thailand and wanted somewhere a bit nicer to stay on our first stop. The rooms were spacious, clean and fab air con! Staff were friendly, except for one surly teenage boy who treated us like idiots. Bathrooms and bedrooms are basic but clean and... More

In recent years this place has had refurbishments to every room, the furniture is solid and clean, the rooms are a generous size, its clean and its location means for Bangkok it is a fairly quite hotel. Breakfast is available but there are plenty of places to eat just a few metres down many of the lovely quite streets.A 10... More

We stayed at the Rajata for three nights in October 2012. We had a room on the ground floor at the back (208). The room was fine, spacious, private facilities, the mattress hard, but in Thailand all the mattresses are hard! The air-conditioning and shower worked and the latter had hot water. The only problem we had was noisy neighbours... More

I quite like this hotel. Only stayed once but would stay again. Definitely one of the "you get what you pay for" hotels but it's fine. It's clean, rooms are quite big, front desk staff are friendly and it's in a good location. Khao San Road is only a 5 minute walk and many stores, pharmacies and 7-11's very close... More

The hotel is in a great location, nice places to eat and drink near by. It's a bit like a motel, doors face out to a back area on the ground level and onto a balcony upper level. Not 100% feeling of security. The beds are rock hard. Moldy shower area. We paid 990 baht for a twin room. Seems... More

I have stayed here on 2 seperate occasions. Bed is ultra confortable - best nights sleep i have ever had in BKK. Paid 850 baht for double bedroom with AC, minibar, cable tv, WIFI. Staff are professional and efficient. Room was cleaned daily. The rate doesnt include breakfast but the breakfast in their restaurant was good - 120 baht. I... More
