We stayed at this hotel from Feb 1 to 5, 2012. The lobby is still under renovation so when we first arrived at the hotel, we were quite disoriented as we had to pass through a hallway covered in white gauzy cloth with LCD screens on the walls showing a sultry lady. My first stay at Sofitel Silom Hotel was impressive. The lobby has renovated to new brand, Pullman, this April. The location was in central Silom area which can walk from Chong Nontri skytrain Station. As a member of Accor, I was treated with welcome drink at pool bar which was a coctail drink. Great location, good size rooms; lovely smell when you enter the property; it needs a bit of an upgrade. I would say that it is not really up to my expectations of the "New Sofitel" properties in Asia; it perhaps was when it was first taken over several years ago from Lee Gardens but now it lags behind a little....
