A great stay with a very comfortable and big room. The bathroom was very big and although we had the accessible room for the disabled with no bath, the shower was amazing. Great view of skyline from 6th floor and the bathroom products from the spa are amazing. The pool is extensive and the service fantastic. No stay would be... More

As part of our Uma Paro/ Como hotels and resort shopping & shangri La package, we stayed at the Metropolitan before and after our five days in Bhutan. We arrived rather late the day before our trip to Bhutan and we therefor did not get much time to explore the hotel and its surroundings. However, when we returned after our... More

The spacious entrance is beautifully lit at night and the staff are helpful - they had excellent sighseeing suggestions and booked cars for us so we could explore outer Bangkok (we went to the floating markets and the Tiger Temple, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience). What I liked most was the food. For starters, we had the most delicious room... More

The Metropolitan, as the title suggests, is a modern and classy respite from the 'thousand miles an hour' pace of Bangkok. When we first arrived, it seemed to be buried in a back street, but in the light of day we could see we were nestled in a district housing many foreign embassies. This contemporary hotel certainly offers a comfortable... More

I've always been quite fond of the Met, principally because of the clean lines of the rooms/public spaces, but it does look like a refurbishment is overdue..the breakfast is superb, everything that one would want, and such a relief not to have wade through a tired buffet..the concierge service is definitely not of the standard one would expect..we were disappointed... The hotel is ideal for your stay in Bangkok. It has a nice bar (met Bar) where the staff were amazing. The pool is nice, though small and gets only about 5 hrs sun due to the tall building blocking it, but you shouldn't really be in Bangkok to sunbathe. Rooms are nice and spacy for a city hotel and... I was booked into the Metropolitan by the staff at my office due to the sheer lack of availability of rooms all over Bangkok due to Chinese New Year. My colleagues and I had to be in Bangkok for a business meeting but ended up having to be booked into 3 different hotels, and I luckily got booked into the... More

I think this hotel was once an office block, which doesn't make it sound so plush. However, if you ignore the exterior, you arrive at a lovely contemporary Asian hotel. This place just oozes style. The rooms are beautifully designed and many have lovely arrangements for the bathrooms. The restaurants serve great and healthy food and can offer great alternatives... More

We found Bangkok to be one of the craziest cities we've ever traveled to and this relaxed, self-assured hotel in the center of it all was our haven and oasis during our 2 days in Bangkok. Gracious interiors, wonderful staff. Located in the Central Business district which I feel is MUCH more preferred than staying on or near the smelly... More

We arrived in Bangkok at 2am from New Delhi and were promptly greeted by the Metropolitan airport representative and comfortably transported to the hotel where at that very early hour staff were ready and very welcoming. The rooms were huge, clean and excellent, good bathrooms with divine products. Breakfast at Glow restaurant was delicious with interesting and yummy dishes and... More
