We stayed here in December 2012 for three nights. Hostel is very far from everywhere. If you want to go to city you have to go there with taxi and MRT. Hostel staff was friendly. The room was clean and Wi-Fi worked well and it was free. The swimming pool are was poor. The furnitures was very old and were... More

A bit far from everywhere, transportation in a little problem. The room where i stayed was nice, very good value considering the price. It has many sitting area, but the best one is the rooftop garden. The swimming pool is quite small, but that's enough and it's very nice to spend some time there, away from the hectic in bangkok... This is a very nice hostel and reasonably priced. However, travelling back and forth is problematic. You need to get a taxi to town and back, which can add between £10 to £16 per day to the bill, depending on your negotiating skills. Coming back from town can take up to two hours during peak time and many taxis won't... More

I booked this place by mistake, I meant to book the Baan Sabai which is 5 mins walk from Khoa San Rd where I have stayed before. This place is amazing. 800 bahts a night for two of us. A comfy double room, quiet location, lovely friendly staff. It was a fair distance from Grand Palace etc. At least 30... More

Now, this place is like my home in Bangkok. I think the staff is much better than before. The rooms are clean, pretty spacious, have cable, wifi (usually...some rooms have sketchy connections). The salads are still good. The pool is much nicer than you would expect for a hotel like this. As usual, it is a bit of a pain... More

What could have been a very nice relaxing hotel is ruined by bad management and rude staff. Stayed for a week then eventually had to move to different hotel because of constant overcharging and managers who didn't really know what was going on.

We wanted somewhere quiet to stay whilst we were waiting for our Indian visas to be processed and the hotel was perfect for that. However when we arrived we were encouraged to take the superior room rather than the standard room we booked, the man at reception said it was a better room and only 600b per night. Two nights... We stayed here in building 2 for the 2 nights before flying home after 5 weeks away. It was cheap and a complete surprise that the photos on hostel.com did not do it justice. A free shuttle or taxi will take you to any point in central Bangkok. A taxi back averaged at £2.50 with 5 of us and the... More

Given the fact that i received a discounted room rate due to my volunteering, it was great value for money. However i would return even if i was'nt receiving a discounted rate. The staff are friendly and helpful and the swimming pool on the roof is a real treat, with uninterrupted views for many kilometers.
