The hotel is about a 5 min drive from the airport. Was clean & staff was friendly. The lobby was nice but the rooms could use a bit of a facelift. Would stay there again if I needed to be close to the airport for a morning flight.

Although not the most modern hotel, my stay at the Holiday Inn Chiang Mai was faultless. Through their loyalty program We were up graded to a Ling River View Suite 85 Sq Mt ! Gorgeous bathroom. The breakfast was great. Got free wi- fi! Lovely swimming pool. Reception, concierge and door staff could not have been more helpful!

I use hotels regularly for business and was therefore fortunate enough to use Priority Reward nights for a stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and did all that was needed to make my week in Chiang Mai enjoyable. The IHG hotel group have an easy online booking system, that worked smoothly all the way. Very kind service. Enormous rooms! Huge beds, very comfortable. Pleasant terrace by the river where you can have breakfast. Not in the city centre, but they offer rides by the hotel tuk-tuk (10 minutes).

I find myself safe and at peace of mind while staying at this hotel due to its trusted brand. Room - very spacious however the furniture isnt looking new and the carpet is getting worn out.
