Pros: G2 is well located in the Old Town and is a good-sized room and fairly-priced room (about $32 a night), and although Natat (front desk) left at the end of the day he was always available to answer questions via email, and quickly. Cons: 1. The bathroom smelled awful (like poop) constantly. No air freshener could help this. This is due to off gassing from the drain in the floor. 2. The sofa was absolutely filthy, with huge stains all over it. I have no idea why it is not in the trash. 3. We stayed on second floor. If a family with small children is in room above, it is a noise factory.

We stayed in a lovely private room with an ensuite but no hot shower in the shower. Breakfast included and many things included such as yogurt and tea or coffee. Staff were helpful when booking tours but could be friendlier. Good location.

Good, clean room. Comfortable bed. Good and helpful staff. After check out you can keep your bags there. 15 mins walk to Sunday market. Very quite and feel safe. But if I’m female single traveler I will not stay there as a bit scary to walk. If more then 2 person very comfy. We’ve enjoyed.

We just got married and rented three rooms for four nights for four people. Only one of those three rooms had a fully functioning shower (hot water was not available in two of the rooms) during the entire stay- and that one bathroom really did not have a pleasant smell. I actually believe the odor was causing my new sister-in-law to become sick and nauseous. (We spent two days looking for medication in the city). I forgot/did not have a chance to inform management about the issue the first couple of nights, as members of our party all shower at night and we always came back around 11pm, when nobody seemed to work the hotel's front desk. However, even when hotel management was made aware of the issue, they did not come up with a reasonable solution. They actually told us that we could each shower in our one room with the smelly functioning bathroom. One evening, they said the hot water heater was broken. The next morning they brought up changing rooms, but nothing ever materialized from that. Very disappointed in this place after reading all the positive reviews. While cleaning service was good, the place seems to be falling apart and not well/properly maintained. Our rooms were 203, 204, and 205.

Nice hotel in the old city area. It is in a by lane but that shouldn’t bother one. I went as per the ratings on Trip advisor and am delighted. Working staff friendly, house keeping good, breakfast is freshly made.what more can one ask for.I certainly will come here again. Special mention for Tong who was in charge of breakfast and front desk. The entry has asmall water body makes it different. For the visitors who are staying for longer duration and want to take a break from hectic sight seeing, please do not forget to visit the Nong Buak Hard public park which is located somewhat behind the hotel . The morning hours are beautiful here.

Pros - The receptionists are very kind and helpful. Our AC began leaking one night and they apologized and put us in an upgraded room while it got fixed. - Cleaning staff was excellent. - quiet location but still conveniently located in the old city. - rooms were in good shape and clean Cons - the shower is a bit small and the shower floor which consisted of rocks and a wooden plank was uncomfortable (but cool looking)

26th - 28th March Travelling from Bangkok to Chiang Mai I chose this hotel to stay during my Chiang Mai visit. The entrance was beautiful with trees and fish and it’s very relaxing and picturesque. The welcome desk staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious but the corridors can sometimes be sweltering hot as there is no air conditioning there. It was a good location but very quiet. Hotel for the temples and a 15 minute walk to the night food market and a half an hour walk to the night bazaar.

Friendly helpful staff, clean and cheap hotel, in a good location but of the main road. Could not ask for any more. I would recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Chiang Mai

The hotel is on a small road off another small road off the main road, but even so the taxi driver had no trouble finding it. We had a deluxe room, which was a suite with a lounge, a kitchen area, a large bedroom and a large bathroom with bath and shower. When we arrived there was fresh fruit in the room as well as complimentary water and tea/coffee. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff working there were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too, we had a cooked breakfast with coffee. This hotel is perfect, we loved it and will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is quite well not in center on old chiangmai city but esay to walk from it to any place (within the wall). The room is big enough fir 3 (2 adults 1 kid) and breakfast (not buffet) is fare good. Tenants are politite and helpfull. It is clean and clear. There is a small garden to rest. So for our next visit we will book same place.
