Stayed for two nights here. the hotel is only 5 mins walk to the Tapae Gate and old quarter. Room is outdated and need indepth refurbishment. The good points are cheap and clean. We walked in the first night and paid 650B and for the second night we booked from agoda, which costs 22 USD but include breakfast. If you're... More

Conveniently located in the center of Chiang Mai. Walking distance to the main Tapae Gate. Lots of restaurants nearby with plenty of food options and bars....local food or not. Starbucks and McDonald's less than 10 mins walk away. A few restaurants offering cooking classes nearby. Lots of ATM machines nearby. 7/11 around the corner. 15 mins walk to the night... More

This time I stayed longer and able to get more details. Location: It is around 5 minutes walk to Thapae gate. One side of the hotel faces a Wat. Generally, it is still quiet as it doesn't directly face the busy Thapae road. Hotel Guests: They are mostly Europeans and Japanese. A few are retired people who stay for medium... More

Average to good in terms of what you can get in Chaing Mai but for value and location it does all you need. Depends on your budget. Rooms are fair, plenty of places for breakfast towards Tapae Gate (left out of side street), banks nearby and if you cut through it is less than 15 mins to night market and... More

Great location, within walking distance to the old town behind the City wall. In the evening easy walk to both Night bazaar as well as Thai local evening market, but far enough from the trouble, so quiet. Staff was very nice. Room was Thai standard, neither high tech nor modern, but clean and good enough. Shower facility needs maintenance. Hot... More

This is an older hotel located by the Tapae gate. The lobby is nice, the rooms are large, and clean. They offer a breakfast for 80 baht which is good, eggs and toast and coffee and juice. The hotel is located between the old city and the night market. We had a problem with the hot water shower. It would... More

Old hotel with lots of character. Amazing antiques in the lobby. Very friendly, helpful staff. Checked in around noon, night staff knew my room number. Very reasonable price. They are remodeling floor by floor, so the upper floor rooms are better right now. East facing rooms have a view of a beautiful old temple that sparkles in the sunlight. West... More

From the outside and on the brochure this looks like a very luxurious hotel. And don't get me wrong the rooms are a good size and clean but could be made to look a lot nicer simply by hanging some pictures! 4 bare white walls make the rooms feel very cold. Staff were very friendly and helpful and has very... More

Not a bad hotel about 10 minutes walk from the Night Bazaar and ThaPae Gate - the starting point of the Sunday market. The rooms are fairly comfortable, though our bed was a little soft and bouncy. There is airconditioning, fridge with 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water a day, TV with foreign channels, and hot water. I would describe... More

Hotel is located about half way between the old city of Chiang Mai and the Nigh Market. It is about 10 mins walk in either direction where there are plenty of restaurants in each area. Breakfast at the hotel was just so-so, not a lot of choice for westerners however I guess adequate - I only ate there twice, and... More
