We stayed in the Amata Lanna for the first three nights of our honeymoon having had to divert from Bangkok due to the 2011 floods. What a last minute find, stunning room with four poster bed, jacuzzi bath, hand-carved doors all overlooking a charming court yard. Breakfast was served each morning in the court yard with homemade museli fresh juices... More

Stayed here for 3 nights after travelling through Laos and Chang Saen. This place was so welcoming, classy, and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely basic breakfast every morning around the pool consisting of fresh fruit, Asian style breakfast and made to order eggs, bacon, and cereal..my favourite mango and sticky rice. The lady that's runs the show here is so... More

I stayed here for three nights in late December 2012 and I would recommend this place to anyone. It is well situated, on a quiet street, walking distance to the night market, shops and restaurants. The decor is beautiful down to every little detail. The rooms are spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The morning breakfast, I'm still dreaming of it,... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave the hotel. The atmosphere here is warm and cosy and you feel like you're living in another era. The bedroom and spa bathroom are spacious and tastefully decorated with traditional northern Thai art. Staff here are attentive and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Loved this hotel. Beautifully decorated. Large rooms and large bathroom. Only 12 rooms so very special service. Staff were lovely. Only breaky served but that was fine as great restaurants just down the road. 5 minute walk to night markets, massage centre and restaurants and shops. Better than the old city. Pretty street across the road from some very expensive... More

After spending a few days in Bangkok it was a good feeling to walk in past the large doors and see a simple beautiful oasis. The feeling was even better after we jumped in for a quick swim - the view of the buildings from the pool is a special one. While the property is small it doesn't need to... More
