Lovely property - boutique type resort. Friendly staff, very helpful; went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied. Excellent food in the restaurant - great cocktail menu. Ideal for travelers looking for quiet and tranquility but still close enough to local hot spots like Chaweng which is 10 minutes away. Hire a car or moped to get around.

Lovely views, Fantastic staff, good facilities, very well looked after. Great design of hotel. I had a wonderful time. The hotel staged a singer, however, who sang cliched songs (quite badly) almost every evening in the dining areas.

I only stayed for one night at Kala and I arrived at night. The airline lost my luggage so I had absolutely nothing but the staff did everything they could to get me the toiletries I needed.
