Staff at this hotel are very helpful with good english. Helped us book a tour to HaLong Bay. Hotel is right around the corner from very good restaurants in the old quarter. Breakfast is basic but exactly what you would expect on the roof. 3 min walk to the lake. Very clean. We would stay here again!

First off, I have to say that the staff were fantastic. So kind and very helpful. The "lobby" of this little hotel is actually just a tour shop, so at first I didn't realize I was at my hotel. But the tour shop right there made it so easy to book my trip to Ha Long Bay and my forward... More

I cannot recommand this guesthouse enough! We stayed here for several nights in between excursions around Hanoi in January 2013. We stayed in 2 different triple rooms (1 nights at the Madam Moon guesthouse and two nights at Artisan Boutique hotel, one of their partnering guesthouse just across the street as they were fully booked). Both times the room was... More

We spent one night for 17$ in december 2012 in the guesthouse. Contact was established very quickly by email. We also arranged a pick-up at the airport for 17$, the driver was waiting for us outside, despite we had to wait for our luggage for nearly 2 hours inside the airport..The room and the bathroom was very clean and provided... Cannot recommend highly enough. The rooms are lovey with a great outlook. Very clean and comfortable and just a lovely atmosphere. The junk boat tour that Mr Binh recommended exceeded my expectations and was just delightful. We were sorry to leave Madame Moon. One thing, take earplugs if you want to go to bed early as the location is very... More

This was one of the most comfortable places we stayed at during our travels around Vietnam. The room was very clean and cleaned often (once or twice a day) and the bed was the softest and most comfortable I'd experienced (for reference, we had the first room on the second floor). The shower was a little odd, but it had... More

Two older sisters from Cape Town mentioned they were planning a trip to Vietnam and as soon as my hubby heard of this he insisted i join them for what he suggested would be a chance of a lifetime. I arrived in Hanoi on 12.11.2012. I booked package to Sapa and Halong Bay with the hotel. The trips were awesome. The hotel is very near to the Hoam Kiem lake and will take less than 5 minutes by walking. There are many shops selling souvenir and other handicraft items near the hotel. You can explore the Old Quarter by... More
