I was probably unlucky as i experienced intermittent internet, i really needed to send out a few email as i have arrived late into Hanoi. the staff told me the IT guy will only be in next morning at 8am. Nuff said. Bed is hard too

Stay here if you are on a busy schedule and just need a place to sleep. Break fast spread is more asian and is just Basic. Lifts look risky but since it cannot be avoided just accepted. Has a decent pool - rooms are functional with occasional failures in the plumbing. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean.

Hotel is self-ranked as 4-star. More like 2.5 to 3. The overall feel is that they stayed in a Hilton once and are trying to emulate it, but in the cheapest way possible. bao son is located around 15 taxi minutes from the center. rooms are decent, staff is friendly though a bit slowl. unfortunately the internet connection was kind of poor and the "swimming pool" was covered and publicly accessible. for sure not the best address in hanoi.
