The rooms were well furnished, beds were excellent. Funny decorations with antique mopeds in the cooridors and an extensive collection of clockworks in the breakfast room. Personnel was very friendly and helpfull. Excellent for those that are bored with standard hotels. Location in the heart of Hanoi's old city could not be better. More

We were in and out of the Queen over a couple of weeks, staying 7 nights in total. Staff were great, hard-working, conscientious and could not be more helpful. The fabric of the hotel doesn't quite come up to their performance however. The lift never worked and the stairs are evilly steep, and the hot water came and went at... More

While the website seems to to offer charming rooms from $65, Lonely Planet comes up with the same information - we went to Queen Hotel and noticed that the beautiful picutres of dark planked lofty rooms were promotional pictures for their Halong Bay tours. Our room was a very affordable $12 for a double twin. Room was tiny though and... More

Spent four nights here and had a great time. Upon arriving at the hotel you're greeted by friendly staff while you walk a small bridge over a beautiful fish pond. It's an oasis of calm and a welcome respite from the busy streets outside. We were upgraded to the VIP rooms at the back of the hotel which had free... More

This hotel has lots of character unlike new hotels in Vietnam. Its narrow and deep and quite dark inside but the rooms are large and fairly comfortable. Views from the rear rooms are just to the rears of other buildings whilst from the front are of the front of other buildings and the street. Its a city! We stayed for... More

I loved this hotel. The staff were beautiful in spirit, helpful and went out of their way. Giang heated the room after a long trip from Sapa, fetched bread rolls from hoan kiem lake when I was sick, and become a personal guide on the moped around Hanoi.. The rooms were large, and the breakfast room was quirky. It became... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Queen Travel Hotel in December 2010. We found it to be very quirky - I was especially fond of the little indoor pond overwhich you had to cross by footbridge in order to access the reception desk. The rooms were very large and very comfortable and the bathrooms were complete with hairdryer which is... More

After a dodgy taxi from the airport that tried to take us to the wrong hotel we arrived at the Queen Travel Hotel and were really pleased with it. It's build in the traditional narrow and tall style with two rooms on each floor. The staff are lovely and really helpful and not intrusive. The reception area is really cool... More
