We were only staying over night and arrived quite late and our initial experience with reception staff did not inspire much confidence. The room was a reasonable size and offered air conditioning, fan and TV. The bed was extremely hard, even by vietnamese standards but the hotel was very clean and maintained well. It is located in a quieter location... More

We stayed here with our 2 teens. Room and bed was clean; bed very comfortable, air con and fan worked brillantly. Staff very obliging and friendly. Breakfast filled us up and kept us going. Stairs wore us out..........we were on the 5th floor...........but considered it good exercise. When we had a blackout, they brought us water and checked we were... More

This place is currently the only hostel in Saigon, so its the place to go if you're backpacking and want to meet other people. That said, there's no real communal area to chill in and the hostel does very little to organise things for travellers staying there (a few trips, but no group activities etc), and so there is not... I shared a four-bed room with my friends at $7/each/night. The bathroom was disgusting with barely any water coming out in the shower. And, it was lukewarm at best. There were these little black bugs everywhere in the bathroom and on the bedroom floor. The AC was working, which was awesome. Our room was right next to the patio/balcony so... More

It's a difficult question with this hotel, as it comes down to what purpose you have with your visit. It was kind of shabby, with the air conditioner open and dirty, and some cables just pointing out of a wall, so this hotel is not something for a family. However, if you are just staying a few nights, on your... More

This was by far the worst place we stayed in Vietnam which usually has a high level of room cleanliness for the same prices. We paid $15 for the room and only stayed the night because we unfortunately paid in advance over hostelworld and it was too late to change. The room was filthy, the bed had dirt, hair and... More

The location is great but ask for a room at the back if you don't want to front onto a bright and noisy street - the curtains are light and the window didn't close properly. The single room was basic but clean, and when the toilet didn't work this was promptly fixed. A good breakfast was included, and there was... More

Spent a month in Vietnam and this was by far the worst place I spent a night. Arrived and told $10USD a night which was fine. Room was basic but clean. However the air con didnt work so i turned the fan on only to have a few volts bounce through my body!! Live electric wire just hanging down freely.... More

Ok, it's basic but it's cheap, clean and in a brilliant location. I stayed in the only dorm room (mixed, 8 beds) which was fun - and no bunk beds in sight! I did see single rooms and double rooms in this hotel too (through friends I made) and they seemed on a par with my personal accomodation. The internet... More

What's good about the hotel is that it's really cheap at US$7 a night for mixed dorms and that's inclusive of breakfast. A clean towel is also provided daily. It is within the backpackers' area of Ho Chi Minh and nearby are pubs, restaurants, shops, bus stops and stations. The staff take charge of the safety of your important belongings... More
