I've stayed at Lone Star 3 times. All three times have been the exact experience. The rooms are large and clean. The restaurant is great and since I'm from Texas originally, it was nice to have some flavors of home. The family that owns and operates the place are wonderful. If I had a question about anything/any place in the... More

With so many good reviews, we were really looking forward to our stay at lone star. However when we reached the room, my friend and I was in shock. It wasn't 'clean' like most of the reviews stated here. We were more appalled when we checked out the toilets. The floor had puddles of water and the door of the... More

Hello, Unfortunately, we overbooked the room and discovered our mistake prior to this guest's arrival. This should not happen.............but did. I emailed her prior to her arrival and explained that we had a room for one night, but for the second night of her stay we did not. I offered to cancel her reservation, and told her that if she... It was my third visit to Cambodia, first time I stayed at the Lone Star Saloon. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff at Lone Star Saloon are courteous, friendly and very helpful. If you need anything they will go out of their way to help you. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and enough to fill you... More

The Lone Star was a good value. The breakfast was good with American style bacon. The rooms and bathroom were VERY large. I will say that the sheets and towels were a little on the dingy side, but definatley not gross or dirty. Their Tuk Tuk driver was very accomadating and friendly, as was the whole staff. It is in... The Lone Star doesn't have a rotating restaurant at the top of the hotel, nor does it have an Olympic sized swimming pool surrounded by large palm trees, and scantily clad waitresses. What it does have is great food, great service, clean, spacious rooms, wonderful location, and fair prices. The bar downstairs is well staffed, well stocked, and well.....fun. I... More

I have stayed at the Lone Star Saloon Bar and Guesthouse about eight times since February 2011, for periods of between one week and two months. Overview: On Street 23, east of Norodom Boulevard, between Cinema Lux and Wat "Sarra-won". Rooms 1 and 3 face Street 23, and have the same footprint at the bar underneath (so are massive!). Rooms... My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't be happier about it. Very welcoming very friendly place. Food is outstanding! Have an omlette.... Also the quesidillas were our particular favourite! Great location, only a few streets over from the nightlife. Bar staff great, very friendly. We stayed in room 2... Massive! Bigger than my room back home!... More

My husband and I have lived in Texas for more than a decade, so when we saw the name of this place we knew we had to come stay here. And what a great decision. The place is fantastic - a really lovely bar downstairs - with lots of Texas memorabilia, and an awesome menu for when you need a... More

This place has 4 huge rooms and a saloon/bar downstairs. Rooms were quite clean and beds were comfy. Don't hesitate trying one of their amazing breakfasts - omelettes are probably made of 5 eggs with cheese, onions, bacon, chili etc, served with toasts, butter and jam. We didn't need lunch after those plates. Lone Star has also a designated tuk-tuk... More
